I tried a few different things with my posters. I got a critique and someone told simplicity is key so thats what I started trying. I feel like it works well.

Veins Poster Composition

Using a grid to help the placement of my font.

So I was just playing around with colours of my font and which combination stands out the most.

I researched anatomy posters and the thing they all had in common was that they all had labels with arrows. So I thought I would try this on my poster and I feel like it went well. Its hard to see the arrows on my poster though.

I was happiest with this composition because it just felt right.

I made a grid and started playing around with my composition.

I was playing around with type in these. Someone told I should look at lab report fonts, which I did and the only font used was a basic serif font. So I looked at futuristic type fonts, computer type fonts, and serif fonts too.

So I tried incorporating the stars in a way that wasn't in the background and this was the best I could come up with.

After more critiques I decided to illustrate all of the components in my poster apart from the background. I feel like this works well.

I took away the body of the person and I feel like these designs flow nicely.

I tried these posters to try and make it more New Zealand related. I like my other designs better though. I feel like the components of these posters don't go well either.
